What is this group?
If you are the kind of persons who always search for ways to improve yourself and believe in your inner potential, this coaching program is for you.
This program utilizes two powerful life skills that you can learn and use in your life to maneuver your life challenges. They are Mindfulness and Cognitive Techniques
Cognitive Techniques focuses on your thoughts to change your feelings and
behavior. Truth is we have control only over our thoughts, feelings, and behavior. We
cannot control others. Our struggles and frustration usually come from when we
realize that we cannot change other people and continue to attempt to change
others. The powerful skills you will learn from this program will be eye
opening for you when you witness drastic changes in your thoughts and moods.
Another powerful skill you will learn is Mindfulness. This is the opposite of cognitive techniques. Cognitive techniques is coming from western ideas of defeating negative thoughts to change your moods. Mindfulness is based on acceptance and here and now. You do not have to change anything to achieve because you are already here. You face and sit with your challenges and struggles instead of running away from them or fighting against them in the mud, and you will see a path open up. You will realize that the challenges and struggles were opportunities for you to grow. You will learn breathing, guided meditation, walking meditation, mindful eating, yoga (stretching) and silent practice. And most importantly, you will learn about yourself.
We practice these two Must-Learn life skills together to grow together in a safe and supportive environment. Supportive community and human connections are one of the important elements for us to grow and thrive. We thrive, other people thrive, and our community thrives.
Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, stressful life, or physical health issues, if you are open to new ideas to improve yourself and believe in your inner potential, this coaching program is for you.
You have opportunities to join the group 1 to 3 times a week. The cost is the same. You can attend only 1/week, 2/week, or 3/week (Group materials are the same), whichever works for your schedule. Please let office know which days you are planning to join, so that we can reserve your spot.
9/12/2017 (every Tuesday) to 10/17/2017 for 6 weeks. Night Group 6:00pm to 7:30pm (Central Time)
9/13/2017 (every Wednesday) to 10/18/2017 for 6 weeks. Morning group:6:00am to 7:30am (Central Time)
9/14/2017 (every Thursday) to 10/19/2017 for 6 weeks. Morning Group: 7:00am to 8:30am (Central Time)

Receive recorded lecture sessions (Edited version after each week).
$25 x 6 weeks/person = $150
Whether you attend 1/week, 2/week, or 3/week, the cost is the same. The more you attend, the more economical and of course beneficial for you!

This is not therapy group or individualized therapy. If you struggle with severe depression, anxiety and/or suicidal thoughts, this group is not able to provide individual attention for you.
All participants will be screened and monitored to make sure that their safety is secured, and you will need to agree with our safety procedures.
Would you like to have a taste of Mindfulness and Cognitive Techniques? Our agency provides free one-hour introductory workshop groups. This is an opportunity for you to be familiar with and gain the knowledge of the concepts of mindfulness & cognitive techniques.
